SUMMER CAMP COORDINATOR & FACILITATOR

  • Coordinated the annual summer camp at Kalarigram, for children ages 5-18.

  • Organized workshops for children by local and international instructors in various art forms such as Mohiniyattam, theatre & improvisation, alongside daily kalaripayyatu classes provided by the institution.

ASSOCIATE ARTIST INSTRUCTOR

  • As an Associate Artist Instructor, designed and facilitated theatre programs for young people from across the city, including specialised programs for young women, new immigrants and vulnerable youth.

  • Advocated for the importance of arts education at city council, various education conferences and community organizations. 

  • In addition, was one of five young people selected to be part of Soulpepper’s inaugural two-year residency program for emerging young artists and arts professionals.

YOUTH THEATRE PROGRAM COORDINATOR & FACILITATOR 

  • Coordinated, managed and facilitated an intensive 6-week theatre youth program, geared towards youth who are new immigrants to Canada.

  • Taught theatre, movement & meditation classes, coordinated all additional artist instructors, and directed the students in an original 60-minute show which was presented at the end of the program.

Waste Warriors

EDUCATION MANAGER

  • Managed and oversaw the development and implementation of all major educational programming at NGO and Voluntary Organization, Waste Warriors. 

  • Designed, developed and implemented interactive and informative workshops for young people, ages 3-18, on responsible waste management, civic responsibility and park conservation.  

  • Manager of the Dehradun chapter of Microsoft India’s seven-month nationwide “Create to Inspire” environmental education program. Conducted in 50 schools across the city, the program sought to teach young people about the importance of environmental sustainability through an arts-based curriculum. 

  • Spearheaded the organization's first annual report 

Undercover Indian - The Play

CO-PRODUCER

  • Co-producer, performer and playwright of a 60-minute immersive solo show entitled Undercover Indian, toured internationally (Canada, India, Sweden, Thailand) for a total of 15 shows in various festivals as well as independent arts venues. 

  • Direction & Dramaturgy by Tracey Erin Smith, co-produced in collaboration with SOULO Theatre

  • Presented in collaboration with Kula Annex Yoga Studio, Soulpepper Theatre Company, IIT's Mood Indigo Festival, Yatra Arts Media, Auromode, Aurodhan Garden Theatre, the Yoga Mela Festival, Vedary Studio & Make My Show Thailand.

  • Organized and managed classes, special workshops and major events for dancers from across North America, including “Zouk EX” a three-day event which was the first of its kind, as it sought to bring zouk dancers and teachers together from across North American to learn from one another, as well as encourage the growth of these dance communities.

EDUCATION INTERN

  • Assisted in all education programming, including the inaugural Now Is the Time program, a citywide initiative that sought to use to the arts as a way to combat the highly prevalent issue of youth gang violence in Chicago. 

  • Developed dramaturgical research on the Holocaust for the premier of Markus Zuzak’s The Book Thief.
